This film is centred on a journey made by two brothers on bicycle from Mexico to Canada in 1956. It also depicts the journey these two men will make in 2009. But above all, it is a different journey which is the central theme of this story: the voyage of life itself. This is a film that speaks of dreams, youth, aging, bonds, hope, death, birth.

Ciclo is a celebration of life, its sadness and bitterness, and how it erases borders, ages and languages. It is a film that may touch the heart of anyone who has ever had a dream, who has aged, who longs for his/her country, who has lost a loved one, who has known the loneliness of an open highway or has had the desire to do so. In short, it is a universal history of the heart.

And it is timely that in our current state of such despair, violence and economic chaos, a film should arise to remind us of the value of traveling this route called Life.
